Corporate secretarial and administrative services are provided to exempted and local corporate clients through CHW's owned company, Coson Corporate Services Limited, licensed to provide Corporate Service Provider Business by the Bermuda Monetary Authority.
Coson provides the administrative and support services necessary to enable clients to conduct business in or from Bermuda, efficiently and in compliance with the various statutory obligations contained under Bermuda law. Coson's services include:

summary information with respect to changes in Bermuda law

accurate maintenance of all statutory records

timely filing of all required returns with the relevant regulatory authorities

a registered office facility

a boardroom and other support facilities for meetings

a representative to attend at formal meetings of the directors and shareholders to take, prepare in final form for signature and distribute the minutes to those entitled to receive them

Bermuda resident directors, trustee and nominee services

a corporate secretary who is available to respond to any ongoing enquiries concerning the administration of the company, assigned to each company administered by Coson.

Globe Management Services Ltd assists with the administration of financial records. Its services include:

recording all income and expenses for the companies after being supplied with appropriate description for each transaction. Preparing Income and Expense report on a quarterly basis

recording the Assets, Liabilities and Shareholders Equity after being supplied appropriate supporting documents for each transaction. Preparing and Balance Sheet on at least a yearly basis

preparing and issuing bank payment instructions, as per the company mandate for the movement of company funds

reconciling all company bank accounts and brokerage statements

assisting with the establishment of company bank accounts and brokerage accounts

preparing distribution of the company’s income for dividend payments, if appropriate.

The acquisition of Bermuda real estate by foreigners is restricted by the Bermuda Government to those properties forming the upper end of the real estate market (as determined by their annual rental value (ARV) being over a certain level).

Non-Bermudians require a Government licence before being able to buy a house or condominium, application for which must be made in the prescribed form with supporting character and financial references.  CHW’s attorneys assist clients in all stages of the application process, advising what is required and compiling and submitting the application on their behalf.
